The biographies and photographs of those we are remembering can be found in this PowerPoint presentation file. Included in the file is an explanation of what Transgender Day of Remembrance is, who is Transgender, and other resources that are linked for reference. The intention is for communities may use this information to educate, create awareness and develop ways to remember the lives that were lost.

Transgender Day of Remembrance for 2019 will be Wednesday, November 20.

Location: 
Redwood City Public Library (Community Room)

Access to the Community Room main Entrance is the front library elevator.
1044 Middlefield Rd
Redwood City, CA

Procession is gathering at Courthouse Square at 5:00pm and ending at the Library by 6:00pm.

Program will be starting at 6:30pm in the Library Community Room.

Interested in volunteering? We need your help!
Volunteers for Set-up: at least three people to set-up 4:30pm.
Volunteers for Clean-up: at least three people to gather materials and stack chairs starting at 8pm.
One volunteer needed to livestream the Procession.

Parking can easily be found next to the Library on Middlefield or around downtown. Caltrain is also two blocks walking distance from the library.
