Since 2015, the LGBTQ Commission has regularly created, discussed, planned and executed work plans related to its mission and community. Early on, they created a Strategic Plan that spanned from 2015-2018 with the facilitation of the Wellness Survey. In 2019, the LGBTQ Commission revised new work plans and in 2020 they were able to successfully implement the Pride Visibility Project, contribute to Pride Celebration and lead Transgender Day of Remembrance. As the Commission moves forward, they will continue to adapt new work plans to the ever-changing world that impacts the LGBTQ community here in San Mateo County.
